The Medicine Buddha is the ruler of the Eastern Lapis Lazuli Land. This gilt bronze Medicine Buddha statue is in a seated position. His expression is compassionate yet solemn. He holds the stem of the Aruna fruit or Myrobalan in his right hand and a jar of medicine nectar on his left while he sits on a lotus pedestal. Those who pay sincere reverence will be able to eliminate all illness and suffering, attain illumination, health, happiness, prosperity, longevity and compassion.
