【Practicing Energy Bagua and Attending Health & Happiness Retreat to Alleviate Knee and Back Pain】
In 2016, my husband has been suffering from knee and back pain for 5 years. It hurts due to his job nature. The doctor said it’s because his synovial fluid in between joints is decreasing and he recommends that my husband get physiotherapy. We came across the “Meditation and Health” magazine. During year end in 2016, we started practicing Energy Bagua. Not long after, he attended Bodhi Meditation’s Health and Happiness Retreat. Grandmaster JinBodhi’s dharma talk during the retreat restored balance to his mentality. He is able to get over and let go of things. Hence, he encouraged me to attend the Health and Happiness Retreat.
【Obtained Unexpected Testimonial of Pregnancy Through Light Offering During Health and Happiness Retreat】
Initially, the thought brushed over my mind. Later on, my husband told me to practice The Medication of Greater Illumination at home. Soon after, I decided to join the Health and Happiness Retreat in June 2017. During the retreat, I heard a sister’s testimonial about light offering which includes successfully conceiving through light offering. During that time, I was married for five years but I haven’t been able to conceive. I did conceive in 2015 but I had a miscarriage. I tried countless methods and consulted many doctors but to no avail. The doctor said I did not have any health issues but I still couldn’t conceive.
【Fear of Medication Intake That Will Affect My Child】
I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 2009. When the illness attacks, I will lose physical strength, my speech will turn into a slur and I cannot eat or drink. I can only take medicine prescribed by the doctor to alleviate my symptoms. The medicine soothes the nervous systems. I need to take the medicine regularly or the illness will attack. After my marriage, I was worried the medicine will affect my children or my chances of conceiving. With confirmation from the doctor, I was told the medicine will not affect my child and there has been a lot of clinical trials and cases.
【Successfully Conceived After One Month of Light Offering】
It was during the 15th day of the Lunar month when I listened to the light offering testimonial in the Health and Happiness Retreat. I offered a light right after, praying to Buddha and Bodhisattva to bless me with children. Surprisingly, I found out I was pregnant after a month. The effects were so immediate. The miracles of light offering really is unimaginable. I’m sure that it’s Buddha and Bodhisattvas as well as Grandmaster JinBodhi blessing and protecting me. I previously underwent a right fallopian tube conception. Due to not appropriately treating my right fallopian tube after my previous miscarriage, the doctor said that fallopian tube is blocked. However, my medical checkup showed that it was a right fallopian tube conception. I truly believed in Buddha and Bodhisattva’s power.
One to two months prior to joining the Health and Happiness Retreat, I made a vow to Grandmaster and said I will make contributions to the ‘Buddhist Robes’ book if I can successfully conceive. Three months after my conception, I immediately visited the meditation center to make offerings to ‘Buddhist Robes’. During my pregnancy, I visited the center often to make light offerings. My entire pregnancy was very smooth and I did not experience any pregnancy related discomfort. I was able to eat and drink. I also chanted ‘Chanting to Avalokitesvara’ during the delivery and the entire process went smoothly. Giving birth had its risks for me. Due to Myasthenia Gravis, I cannot undergo surgery because certain anesthetics are not suitable for me. Even though the illness did attack, I was fortunate to have met a skilled doctor. Eventually, I successfully gave birth and my son is very healthy and energetic. He is two years old this year and he still very healthy.
I’m very grateful to Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Grandmaster JinBodhi’s blessing and protection that allowed me to carry and deliver my son. Even though the doctor said I can no longer conceive again, but I live with no regrets now. Thank you brothers, sisters and teachers.
